My e-mail does not send or receive. What should I check?
Check in this order.
1. Try from webmail
If you can send and receive normally from webmail, the mailbox works and the problem is in the settings of your device. Go to step 4.
2. The domain and the service
In the client area see that the domain has not expired ("My domains") and that the hosting is not "Suspended" ("Services"). Also look at the "Network status".
3. A full mailbox
If the mailbox has reached its limit, it accepts no new messages. Delete old messages and empty the trash and the junk folder. From the control panel this is done with the button "Clean up" on the row of the mailbox.
4. The settings of the program
User name: the whole e-mail address.
Password: if you changed it recently, type the new one into all your devices.
Server name and ports: as the card "Mail client settings" shows them (see the article "Which settings do I use in Outlook or on my phone?").
If you receive but cannot send: the outgoing server needs authentication and port 465 or 587.
5. One message did not arrive
Ask the sender to see whether an error message came back to them, and look in the junk folder. If you received a bounce message yourself, read it: it states the reason.
If it is not solved, open a support ticket and write the address, whether it is about sending or receiving, since when, and the exact error message. Do not write the password.
