Which settings do I use in Outlook or on my phone?
The exact settings for your own domain are in the control panel: tab "Mail" → "Mail Accounts" → card "Mail client settings".
User name
The whole e-mail address, for example info@example.gr. Not only "info".
Password
The password of the mailbox.
Incoming
"Incoming (IMAP)": port 993 with SSL/TLS. Recommended: the messages stay on the server and you see the same ones on all your devices.
"Incoming (POP3)": port 995 with SSL/TLS. The messages are downloaded to the device.
Outgoing
"Outgoing (SMTP)": port 465 with SSL/TLS or port 587 with STARTTLS. The outgoing server needs authentication with the same user name and the same password.
Server name (host)
Type exactly the server name the card shows, for incoming and for outgoing. If you type another name, the program will warn you about the certificate.
If the program asks for an account type, choose IMAP. If it tries to find the settings by itself and fails, choose manual setup and type the above.
