How do I point my domain to the hosting?

For your website to open when somebody types the domain, the domain must "point" to the hosting server. There are two ways.

A. With nameservers (the simple way)
1. Open the hosting control panel and, in the tab "Hosting & DNS", press "DNS Settings".
2. The page says which nameservers you must set at the registrar of the domain.
3. Set them where the domain is registered. If it is registered with us: "My domains" → the domain → "Nameservers".
This way the website and the e-mail of the domain work from your hosting with no other setting.

B. With an A record (when the DNS stays elsewhere)
Keep the nameservers as they are and, at the provider that manages the DNS of the domain, create an A record to the IP address the same page shows. This way only the website changes; the e-mail stays where it was.

Adding or changing a DNS record
When the DNS is served by your hosting, on the page "DNS Settings", in the card "Add record", fill in "Host", "Type", "Value" and press "Add".

The change needs time to show everywhere (see the article "How long does a nameserver or DNS change take?").
