How do I change the PHP version?

1. Open the hosting control panel.
2. In the tab "Hosting & DNS" press "PHP Settings".
3. Choose the version under "PHP version".
4. Press "OK".
The change takes effect at once and only for this website.
Before you change the version
Make sure your application (for example WordPress, its theme and its plugins) supports the new version. Update them first.
If the website shows a white page or an error after the change
Go back to the previous version with the same steps. The tool "Logs" shows the PHP errors and which file causes them.
If the field is locked, your plan does not allow choosing the PHP version. Open a support ticket and we will change it for you.
