How do I connect with FTP?

With an FTP program (for example FileZilla) you upload and download files from your computer.

The connection details
1. Open the hosting control panel and press "Connection Info".
2. The card "How to connect with FTP (step by step)" shows exactly what to type: "Host (server)", "User name", "Password" and "Port" (21).
3. Type them into the FTP program and connect.
4. Upload the files of the website into the folder that the page "FTP Accounts" names (the tool "FTP").

The FTP password
It is the password of the subscription, not the password of the client area. If you do not remember it, set a new one: on the page of the subscription, in the box "Access", type it under "New password for FTP / SFTP" and press "Change password".

An FTP account for somebody else
If you want to give access to someone who works for you without giving them your own password:
1. Press the tool "FTP".
2. In the card "Additional FTP accounts" type the "Login", the "Password" and the "Folder".
3. Press "Add FTP account".
That account can reach only the folder you set. When the work is done, delete it.
