How do I change the nameservers of a domain?
The nameservers decide which provider your domain "points" to, that is, where its website and e-mail are.
1. Open "My domains" and press the domain.
2. In the box "Nameservers" type the new nameservers. The first two are required.
3. Press "Save the nameservers".
The change is not instant: after you save, our support team applies it at the registry. After that the DNS also needs time to spread (see the article "How long does a nameserver or DNS change take?").
Which nameservers to use for your hosting with us
You find them on the page of the hosting service ("Services" → the service → "Account on the server") and in the e-mail you received when it was activated.
Careful: when the nameservers change, the website and the e-mail of the domain go to the new provider. First make sure that both the website and the mailboxes have been set up there.
